As part of Takeover Day Scotland 2013, P6 and P7 pupils from Greenmill Primary School worked with the Raising the Bar project team and East Ayrshire Leisure Trust curators to learn about how artefacts are looked after and
displayed. Pupils curated their own exhibition using finds from the Tupp Inn excavations.
The pupils chose their own objects and cleaned, catalogued and photographed them, before working together to create a display of the artefacts in a museum display case. The pupils gave tours of their exhibition to members of the public and provided an interpretation panel to accompany the display. The exhibition was hosted by the Baird Institute.
